UChicago Promise MOVE UP is an expansion of UChicago Promise designed to support local students and families through the virtual college engagement, application, admissions, and financial aid process.
Our Pledge: Graduate Debt-Free
Students admitted to the University of Chicago for undergraduate studies will have their full demonstrated financial need met without loans. These student loans will be replaced by grants, which do not have to be repaid.
Chicago residents who attend high school in Chicago will also have the $75 application fee automatically waived when applying to the University of Chicago.
